I am a graduate student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Connecticut(UConn). Before joining UConn, I was a student in the school of Electrical engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST). I am currently a member of MACS project (Modular Approach to Cloud Security) research team [made up of researchers from Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, UConn and Northeastern University].

Research Interests

  • Systems, Distributed Systems
  • Computer/Communication Networks
  • Wireless/Mobile communications
  • Cloud Computing

Current Projects

  • Moving Target Defense
In collaboration with Boston University and UConn we propose a new model for evaluating the effectiveness of MTD systems. Specifically, we model MTD as a combinatorial game between an adversary and a defender. Our analysis shows that MTD can be a really effective approach in securing a system if MTD startegies are composed together and system paramers are chosen wisely.
  • Software Defined Networking(SDN)
The main goal of this project is to address security vulnerabilities in Software Defined Networks and eventually presenting a secure architecture for next generation SDNs.
